Running Assessment Gait Analysis
Mechanics assessment including Ground Force Reaction, Initial Peak Acceleration and Ground Contact time.
What is Running Assessment Gait Analysis?
A running assessment and gait analysis is a data-driven evaluation of how your body moves while running. It examines your stride, posture, limb movement, and force distribution to identify imbalances or inefficiencies.
We use DorsaVi wireless Bluetooth sensors to track your ground force reaction, initial peak acceleration, and ground contact time. The system is non-invasive, portable, and delivers real-time feedback. You’ll run naturally, either on a treadmill or track, while our technology collects precise metrics over short or long distances.
The final report maps out your full gait cycle, highlights asymmetries, and provides actionable recommendations. You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of your current form and how to improve it.
Why Gait Analysis Matters for Runners
You deserve a running plan that works with your body, not against it. If you’ve ever experienced discomfort, recurring injuries, or performance plateaus, your running form could be the reason.
Our gait analysis reveals how your body moves, where stress is being placed, and what might be holding you back. You’ll learn whether one side of your body works harder, if your stride is efficient, and how well your joints absorb impact.
This knowledge isn’t just for elite runners. It’s for anyone who runs — beginners, weekend warriors, marathoners, and everyone in between.
You’ll gain valuable data to:
-
Reduce your risk of injuries by identifying muscular imbalances early
-
Train more efficiently with evidence-based adjustments to your form
-
Understand your stride patterns, cadence, and foot placement
-
Improve performance by correcting overstriding, impact load, or timing issues

Benefits At-A-Glance
-
Gain insights on metrics like ground force reaction, initial peak acceleration, ground contact time, etc.
-
Compare limb symmetry
-
Track time, speed, distance, average pace, and cadence of run
-
Obtain graphs of run analysis mapping out metrics throughout the run
